In another theory, it was suggested that Wayward Pines Season 3 would show the populace in the future, co-existing in a human community. However, later on in the season, it will be revealed that majority of the humans inside the said community are but a new group of Abbies.
These are capable of enslaving the humans and are practitioners of racism and classism.
Maximum fan theories propose that the residents that were sent to hibernation in Season 2 will wake up to the world where they need to exist along with theAbbies in Wayward Pines Season 3.
But then again Blake Crouch, author of the trilogy fictions, that the series is founded on seemed to point out that coexistence of both species is not a probability. It is more likely that Abbies and humans will carry on their bout against each other.
There is no uncertainty that Season 3 is going to be a lot more entertaining. Based on the book, it would also be stimulating to watch how the showrunners would convey the story on TV screens in the new season. Fans are also inquisitive about knowing how the crossover thing would be incorporated.
