‘Wayward Pines’ Season 2 Penultimate Episode to See the Continuing Battle Between the Abbies and Humans!

However, Megan overlooked one important thing about the Abbies and that is, the creatures communicate with their minds. The captured female Abbie was calm and very quiet but deep inside her head, she was already sending messages to her fellow Abbies through mental telepathy. In fact, that is precisely the reason why two male Abbies eventually attacked the town in an attempt to rescue their female colleague.

Incidentally, Season 2, “Wayward Pines” is getting the raw end of the reviews of a number of critics.

Most of them are saying that the first season was amazing because it featured the perfect marriage of all the elements of a racy mystery series and that there was always a healthy dose of suspense into it, along with ample actions too, particularly during the Season 1 finale.

However, critics felt that Season 2 was a bit of a downer. The first few episodes paled in comparison to its counterpart episodes in Season 1 and they believe that the show can no longer turn things around and be a hit with its remaining episodes.

Some of the enumerated reasons include the fact that the new characters introduced in Season 2 were not exciting enough and that the show no longer has a mystery and suspense that it does not seem like it’s the work of the master of suspense, M. Night Shyamalan.
