Wayward Pines Season 2 Has Fans Wishing For More!

Other rumors about the show include the fact that M. Night Shyamalan might still be involved in the show. There will also be a new showrunner, so that might turn the path that was made during the first season a little bit.

Fans are happy that the show is coming back this summer, however there is no confirmed premiere date at this time. In the meantime, the cast, producers, writers and directors are going to have to try and figure out how to top the ratings from the first season. The first episode brought in more than 3.7 million viewers.

From there, each week saw just about the same amount of viewers right up until the end when the season finale was watched by 3.98 million viewers. Those numbers are for live viewers, with DVR viewers bringing in anywhere from two to three million more viewers each week.
