‘Wayward Pines’ Season 2 Episode 3 to Feature How and Why Jason Higgins was Raised to Become the Leader of the First Generation!

The series finale of Season 1 of “Wayward Pines” also had the same kind of twisted ending, that left audiences to wonder whether there will be a Season 2 or not of the show because, at the time of the Season 1 finale, Fox has yet to decide whether to renew the show for a second season or not.

M. Night Shyamalan explained then that he likes that Season 1 gave audiences a clear-cut ending, while noting that he and Blake Crouch already have an idea of what they intend to do for Season 2 of the show.

The director and producer added that he does not want to reveal any information yet. “Wayward Pines” ultimately came from delivering several twists that were both exciting and over-the-top.

During the Season 1 finale, Ethan finally gave town creator and scientist David Pilcher what he deserved. Ethan killed him trying to protect the townspeople in a vivid scene that involved getting blown up in an elevator.

But the show left things wide open when Ethan’s son Ben, played by Charlie Tahan, woke up to a town run by the First Generation kids that pretty much reset “Wayward Pines” into the fear state that it began under Pilcher’s rule.
