Waterproof and Shock-Proof Case Makes HTC One M9 a Sturdy Smartphone to Handle Outside Elements

The rather short battery life of the HTC One M9 however appears to be a software optimization issue since the smartphone is actually bigger than the HTC One M8 and has a bigger battery too. That is why it came out as a surprise to many users that its battery drains faster than its predecessor, notes Ubergizmo.

Although the life of its 2840 mAH battery capacity is not really terrible compared to other smartphones in the market today, neither it is impressive when compared to the HTC One M8.

HTC would not take it sitting down the way it attempted to do in improving its camera but failed short somehow. The Taiwanese smartphone maker is said to be working on an update for the phone, called the Version 1.40, that will improve the battery life of HTC One M9.

The update worked on the baseband to improve the battery life of HTC’s current flagship smartphone.

Accordingly, the update has already rolled out in the home country of HTC One M9 in Taiwan but it is likely that it will be coming out soon in other countries for the rest of the HTC One M9 owners to take advantage of too.
