In one of his posts on his Twitter account, Donaldson said that filming for Season 4 was a wrap and that he will never forget his experience.
He also posted another photo showing him with fellow Canadian, Alexander Ludwig, who plays Bjorn Ironside in the TV series.
Donaldson was actually the one who announced on Twitter recently his guesting stint in “Vikings” when he posted an eight-second video clip where he was quoted as saying that he is excited to be a part of the “Vikings” series.
He captioned it by saying that he has been working on the beard and the hair for months so that he can get ready to raid.
The 30-year-old Toronto Blue Jays baseman is a huge fan of “Vikings.” He is known in the game for his strange-looking hair styles and when he shared a photo of his hairdo on Instagram, it actually resembled the look of show main character King Ragnar Lothbrok.
But his character is not the only new face in “Vikings” that will be introduced in Season 4. There is also Peter Franzen as Scandinavian warrior King Harald Finehair, Jasper Paakkone as Finehair’s younger brother Halfdan theBlack, and Dianne Doan as Chinese slave Yidu.
