Apart from Ivar the Boneless, the focus of the second half of the fourth season of “Vikings” shall be on Bjorn Ironside, played by Alexander Ludwig.
During the midseason finale, Bjorn was left to choose between his father and the position of king. Reports have it that the next several episodes of Season 4 would show Bjorn exploring more lands as he sails to the Mediterranean, Spain, and Africa, to prove himself to his father and the people of Kattegat.
Meanwhile, the Parent Herald reported that Season 4 of “Vikings” shall focus on the fate of King Ragnar, who shall reportedly be treading on a more negative turn, which could possibly end to his eventual demise.
It could be recalled that the death of Ragnar in “Vikings” has been reported even before the TV series premiered in February this year. But based on history, it was King Aella of Northumbria who was responsible for the death of Ragnar when he threw the Norse King into a pit of snakes. It would be interesting to find out if the subplot on King Aella would be included in the second half of Season 4 of “Vikings.”
The “Vikings” may be adapted from real-life history but the plotlines of the TV series has certainly made it unpredictable so viewers will have no idea on what will happen next, which is what is making the TV series highly-anticipated.
