We don’t know when the film is coming out – current reports indicate a 2018 release date, but that’s too far away and anything could happen until then. While we haven’t heard any rumors about possible delays in the production, it’s far too early to say anything in this regard.
On the other hand, it might also be too early to discuss the possibilities for plot developments in the new film, as these things are probably going to change rapidly over the next 1-2 years, as the initial drafts of the plot are setting into place.
Once the film’s writers have a more concrete version of the story in place, Disney might start giving us hints about the plot – or, on the other hand, we might also start seeing leaks. After all, it would be difficult for the studio to keep this production a secret for too long, but fans should also be wary of any leaks coming out as it’s likely that there are going to be lots of fakes.
