Ever since “Frozen 2” was confirmed, the film has been the subject of much speculation from fans of the original, and there are various rumors going around concerning the upcoming production so far. Many of them talk about possible plot developments and interesting surprises that might be introduced, and if even half of those rumors turn out to be true, it would appear that Disney are planning something truly spectacular with this film.
It’s still in early stages of its production, but there already seems to be some solid progress on the plot and other aspects, and the team of writers are apparently brainstorming some rather unusual themes and ideas for the new film. Among the rumors we’ve heard so far, there is the possibility of a wedding between Kristoff and Anna, and even more interestingly, themes of homosexuality.
That actually could make some sense, as Disney have been getting bolder and bolder with their themes lately, and they could definitely try to explore some more controversial topics. Inserting them in a film primarily aimed at children could stir up some drama, but it would definitely be for the best if it’s presented in an appropriate light. Something which we don’t doubt Disney can pull off right.
Other what else are Disney considering? Olaf and Sven are characters that they apparently want to pay special attention to, and they might be given a more central role in the plot of the new film. Also, the wedding between Kristoff and Anna might be shown in detail, and that is actually pretty much guaranteed at this point, looking at the way fans of “Frozen” have been requesting it.
It’s one of the most discussed possible developments for “Frozen 2” when one takes a look at any discussion board focused on the film, and it would be strange for Disney to ignore it. On the other hand, that also depends on whether the studio had this in their plans in the first place, but even if the initial plot ideas for “Frozen 2” did not include that, Disney should go back and reevaluate the story.
Because lots of fans would be disappointed if this doesn’t happen, and even though Disney could compensate by introducing other interesting developments to the plot, this will still affect the way fans see the film and think about it, and it could tarnish its reputation. Hopefully, the studio realizes the importance of listening to their fans closely, and are going to give enough attention to their requests in the new film.
If they do homosexual themes in Frozen 2 I wont see it!! Seriously Disney stay KID FRIENDLY!! If Walt Disney was still around he would be ashamed of the direction the company is thinking about taking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
