The CW hit show Vampire Diaries Season 6 went on a holiday break, but are going to be back on 22nd January, 2015 with episode 11. The creators of Vampire Dairies Season 6 have already released a teaser to pique the interest of fans.
Episode 11 titled, ‘Woke Up with a Monster’ has already created quite a buzz with fans earnestly waiting for what is in store for the gang in Mystic Falls. The trailer shows that Kai has grown in power and is all out to make matters worse for the Salvatore brothers.
The mid-season finale of Vampire Diaries Season 6 saw Jo begging Alaric to not kill her brother. She even allowed her to regain her energy and fight her brother with the help of magic. Jo wanted to take charge of the Gemini witch coven from Kai, thus ensuring that Liv and Luke also get a chance of survival. Kai, however, had other plans. He had sucked up the remaining bit of the Traveler magic and set off.
Kai wanted to get back at the vampires of Mystic Falls and starts off by placing an invisibility spell over Damon’s lady-love, Elena. In the mid-season premiere of Vampire Diaries Season 6, the viewers will see that Kai is more powerful than ever before, but he is still unsure about how to control the Traveler magic. He keeps Elena captive while he tries to figure out how to control his newly acquired power.
Damon soon enough discovers that Kai has captured Elena, but the synopsis for the new upcoming episode says that Damon’s plans to rescue Elena might go for a toss when he encounters an unexpected visitor.
Enzo has been making things difficult for the past few episodes. The executive producer of Vampire Diaries says said that the reason for Enzo tormenting Stefan will finally be revealed in the upcoming episode.
The episode will also see Sheriff Forbes returning home from her short stint in the hospital, where she had been battling with cancer. In spite of being with her mother all throughout, Caroline, will be missing from her life after she gets back home. Stefan and Caroline, who have finally reworked on their friendship, start on a road trip to North Carolina to find a cure for her mother’s disease.
Enzo finds out the existence of Sarah Salvatore, and this might create a problem between the two Salvatore brothers. Stefan has been caring for Sarah, ever since she was a little girl, but has hid the information from Damon. Enzo seems to have got a hint about it and meets up with Stefan on his road trip.
