US PRO Rugby Competition Is in Major Trouble, Allegations Spread by PRO Rugby Were Vehemently Denied!

As a result, the entire Rugby Competition in the USA is in turmoil. It is a disappointing condition for the sports in America, where the first ever professional league started back in April.

Denver ended up winning the 2016 title, but last week San Francisco announced that they were folding. Schoninger said that they are currently evaluating their options for 2017. They are committed to having a competition in 2017 and trying to rehire as many players possible from 2016. They are yet to determine where and when that competition will take place.

Sadly, some time back the NRFL Managing Director, Steve Ryan, said that the appetite and excitement for Rugby in the USA are at an all-time high. Earlier, around 62000 fans filled up a Soldier Field that was sold out in Chicago for the upcoming Rugby Weekend, for a match between Ireland and New Zealand.

He said back then that they plan to replicate such type of passion through league play and signing the best players available on the pitch globally. He had plans to introducing the sport of Rugby to the huge base of fans who are highly enthusiastic about contact sports.
