Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is the first expansion pack for Diablo 3 – a massively popular action role-playing game. It was first revealed at Gamescom 2013. On March 25th, it was released for the PC and the Mac Versions.
The Reaper of Souls expansion will be further ported to all console versions of Diablo 3. It is a part of the Ultimate Evil Edition version for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. With this update, the game was expanded to a great extent on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and launched for the first time on the next-gen consoles.
Earlier in October, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition received its first major update on the PlayStation 4 platform. There are many new and essential features that were included with the Patch 2.1.0 update. One of the newest features include the presence of a ‘What’s New’ Screen. It will provide a quick overview of all the new features that come with any specific update.
Many exciting features have been introduced in Diablo 3 with the release of this update. Let’s take a look at what gamers will now enjoy the most. When the Treasure Goblins have been defeated, they will spawn a new portal into ‘The Vault’. It is supposed to carry a lot of valuable treasures that will additionally help the gamers with their plundering efforts. This location will house the ‘Baroness Greed’, the newest boss of the Sanctuary.
‘The Vault’ isn’t the only new place to be added with the 2.1.0 update. Players can now seek their adventure in new places, as The Cesspools and Greater Rifts are now available with the update. When gamers seek adventure in Nephalem and the Greater Rifts, they will encounter The Cesspools. These ideas are based on the original designs from the sewers of Westmarch.
The Greater Rift is a special type of timed Nephalem Rift including an infinite number of levels. Each of the levels will become more difficult with time. Players who complete the Greater Rift will qualify to select one of the two different rewards. They can choose to upgrade their Legendary Gems or proceed to the next Greater Rift level, provided that they can complete it on time.
Legendary Gems are included with the new 2.1.0 update for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. They are a new category of gems that drop within the Greater Rifts. They are also offered in The Vault. If paired with Rings and Amulets, they can provide powerful abilities. Using Ramaladni’s Gift, players can now add a socket to any of their weapons, which don’t already have one. The said item will randomly drop in the game world and it will be consumed, once it’s used.
