For those of you that have been waiting to hear any news about Uncharted 4, your wait is over and the news is good news. Some might say that good news only comes with bad news, but in this case, it is all good news. There was a rumor or two that floated around the internet recently about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and this week, that rumor was confirmed by a very reliable source. The new game will be released for the Playstation 4 and just like the last two versions, it will have a multiplayer mode.
When the first Uncharted game hit the market back in 2007, it did not come with the popular multiplayer mode. Since that release, however, the next two versions were released with that feature in tact and it was due to the popularity that many saw in games that were at the top of the charts each year. The rumors was part of speculation that it would come with the mode based on the history of the games released before it.
Naughty Dog confirmed the feature this week and that has players getting all excited to play the new Uncharted 4 game on the Playstation 4. Back in 2013, Uncharted 3 had a multiplayer mode that was just a free to play, stand alone game and the developer noted that it would do the same for future games. That seems to be the case as they kept the promise as the fourth version is about to be released. The third version did launch with a public beta before the official launch.
There is nothing that is place to say that is coming for Uncharted 4, however. There is little reason to believe that it would not come with a public beta testing option as that is a good way for the developers to get a handle on how the game is going to react with the masses. The game is due to hit stores later on this year, however, Naughty Dog has not made any announcement of a planned release date.

Other things that have been revealed about the game include that there will be less linear environments, as well as the introduction of the new Naughty Dog AI Companion. The new companion is going to be Nathan’s long lost brother, Sam. Sam will be controlled by AI over the entire course of the new story line.
