Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Introduces ‘Capture the Flag’ Type of Multiplayer Game Called Plunder!

Druckmann sort of confirmed the death of Nathan Drake when he was also quoted as saying that when all is said and done, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” is truly the end of Nathan Drake.

However, he opened the possibility of a prequel to the game with an entirely different character. But “Uncharted 4” will definitely be the end for Nathan Drake, he reiterated.

From a previous worldwide release date of March 18 exclusively on the PlayStation 4, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” was reported to come out on April 26. Subsequently, it was pushed back further to May 10.

Naughty Dog explains that the delays were necessary so that it would be able to buy more time to finish the game and meet its own high standards.

Druckmann explained that “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” is the largest in the video game series and the development team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner.

However, when the deadline drew near and they started wrapping up the game’s levels, they realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring the game to the finish line.

After carefully considering their options, Naughty Dog decided to extend its schedule, making sure that they give it a few more polish passes before submitting their gold master, the final disc for manufacturing.
