Sony’s PlayStation 4 is having a great run ever since its release, mainly because the Xbox One did not get a good start. However, the exclusive titles are the ones that set the PS4 apart. The PlayStation 4 has received the re-mastered version of ‘The Last of Us’ but nothing really compares to Uncharted, the biggest PlayStation franchise ever. The upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles for the PlayStation 4, so far.
A recent screenshot from the game was released. Looking at it, we can certainly expect this title to be one of the most memorable exclusives for the PS4 platform. It was earlier confirmed by the developers that this upcoming title could feature the end of Nathan Drake as gamers know it. No updates were released on whether the series will progress with a new lead character or be temporarily discontinued and replaced by a new IP.
The developers and designers of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, released a teaser image of the game that shows Nathan Drake in his newfound glory. Even though he looks quite the same, it is obvious from the image that the visual quality has been bumped-up to higher levels. Presently, it looks like everything is possible with the formidable hardware of the PlayStation 4.
As a result, we can see that the developers are heavily utilizing their resources for an optimal experience with this upcoming title. However, Naughty Dog, the studio responsible for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, is being quite secretive. They have kept every piece of information a secret so far and till now we hardly know anything about the storyline.
A brief introduction was issued while the trailer revealed at E3, and now we finally get the opportunity to see Drake up close. From what we can see, he looks impressive. His skin, facial features and textures have received a paramount level of importance.
Naughty Dog further added in a tweet that everything that was shown in E3 was not at all pre-rendered but taken directly from the in-game engine. The released image was taken from the game itself, but we are not sure if Drake will actually look like this in-game. Presently, there have been issues with the rendering of 1080p on all games.
As a result, we have to wait and see how Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, turns out for the PlayStation 4. Presenting a game at such life-like graphics quality may be possible for an Ultra High-End PC gaming rig. However, with this upcoming title, developers are willing to push forward and reveal how much more the PlayStation 4 can handle.
Stay tuned for more updates on PlayStation exclusive titles!
