After the airing of the trailer of Transformers 5, it appears Optimus Prime will be playing the part of the main bad guy. This begs the question, what will become of Megatron, will he turn himself around as the hero in this film.
This new trailer for Transformers 5, depicted Optimus Prime picking a fight with Bumblebee. Fans are wondering the reason behind such conduct. In the previous movie, Transformers 4, we saw Optimus Prime venture out on a journey, to find the one responsible for the attacks on earth.
In the sequel’s trailer, we see him floating dead in space.
And then we see him alive, but there seems to be a change in his behavior. So, there are a few theories floating around regarding the reason behind this. According to some fans, this new movie might be set in correspondence to the same set-up as seen in the animated version of Transformers: The Movie.
In the animated film, the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime is killed by his arch nemesis Megatron. After which the leadership of the Autobot clan is taken up by Hot Rod, something
Now the question arises how Optimus Prime will be revived again. There are a few theories trying to provide answers for this question. The initial one would have to do something with the Quintessonscontrolling and bringing Prime back to life, given their goal to steal the Matrix of Leadership.
By the time Hot Rod readily gives back the Matrix to Optimus Prime, it will look as if he is being controlled by theQuintessons and will then begin his attack on the Autobots.
It could also be possible that the Quintessons will also be striking at the Decepticons, therefore proving that an alliance between the Autobots and Decepticonsessential to fight for their race. This theory may seem a bit far-fetched, but it isn’t improbable a scenario.
It may be conceivable that Megatron could be a fleeting or temporary hero, just for the sake of making his species survive, but will of course, later on, get back to his villainous resolve after everything is back in order.
Paramount Pictures has launched the first clip for Transformers: The Last Knight, which the fifth installment in the Transformers franchise. The flick is being directed by Michael Bay, once again and the movie attempts to increase the mythology spectrum of the Transformers cosmos, by presenting a medieval-centric backstory, withMark Wahlberg is re-enacting his main role from the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Described by Anthony Hopkins, the trailer starts in what gives the impression of being medieval England with blood drenched on a sword, and then we observe a Transformer flying by somebody riding on horseback.
It is after we make out way back to the present day, that we glimpse shots of new and familiar characters. Everything starts and initially continues on a slow note including the music. Then suddenly midway, the director Michael Bay drops the hammer and the excitement starts.
