Latest reports also put that “Transformers 5” will have two major plotlines. This was confirmed by Mark Ryan, the actor who lent his voice to Jetfire in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” the third movie of the franchise and Lockdown in “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”
Ryan said that the principal plotline involves the effort of Cade Yeager on earth to spare the world from invaders with the assistance of the Autobots and Dinobots.
The second plotline, on the other hand, will revolve around the true pioneer of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, as he seeks to discover the Quintessons, the creator or the inventors of his race.
Ryan added that the two stories will be inevitably combined together towards the end.
Meanwhile, Stephen Davis, president of Hasbro, proudly stated that the script for “Transformers” franchise is already prepared for up to 10 years, which he attributes to having that writers’ room a few months ago, under the supervision of Academy Award-winning writer Akiva Goldsman.
Paramount Pictures has come up with a “Transformers” writers’ room sometime in May as put together by Akiva Goldsman and Michael Bay. The writers’ room assured the next installment of the very successful robot movie series of a good storyline as well as all future films or spinoff movies of the franchise.
