‘Toy Story 4’ to See Woody, Buzz and the Other Toys Going on an Adventure to Rescue Bo Peep!

When “Toy Story 3” was released to global theaters in 2010, the ending showed that Andy, the boy who owns Woody and Buzz and all the other toys, has already grown up and decided to give his toys to a little girl as he goes off to college.

Andy has obviously outgrown his toys and there was no more story to tell after that as far as the once little boy was concerned.

But Disney has given it some thought after a few years and just a few months ago confirmed that there will be a “Toy Story 4.” The entertainment conglomerate has already put a June 15, 2018 release date on the movie, which makes it good to go.

As far as the characters of the upcoming fourth installment of the very successful “Toy Story” franchise is concerned, it shall reportedly feature Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and most of the other toys that were present during the first three movies.

Although most of the rumored plotlines about “Toy Story 4” are mere speculations at this time, the consensus is saying that the film shall see Woody, Buzz, and the other toys going on another adventure to rescue Bo Peep.

Bo Peep, as fans of the film franchise know, is the love interest of Woody. It could be recalled that Bo Peep was given by Andy to someone else in “Toy Story 2” while he gave all his other toys to a young girl named Bonnie in “Toy Story 3,” details Release Date Portal.

So instead of Andy as the toy owner, it would definitely be Bonnie in “Toy Story 4.” Since Woody and Buzz like to keep the toy family whole, it is speculated that they would go out of their way to craft another elaborate plan to look for and rescue Bo Peep and bring her to the fold of Bonnie.

The gang will be back

Aside from Woody and Buzz, the toy gang would be back including Jessie, Hamm, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, and a lot more, details Game & Guide.

In a recent interview, John Lasseter, the director of  the first “Toy Story” films, disclosed that they no longer had any plan of making a “Toy Story 4” because the closure between Andy, Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toys already sealed the deal in “Toy Story 3.”

But when the idea of Woody and Buzz and the other toys going out to find Bo Peep was brought up, it appealed mightily to Lasseter so he decided to make a go for “Toy Story 4.”

It also helped that it was Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO of Disney, who personally confirmed that there will indeed be a “Toy Story 4.”

And just like the first three movies, “Toy Story 4” will be once again a collaboration between Disney and Pixar Animation Studios.

Confirmed to reprise their roles

It has already been confirmed also that Tom Hanks will be reprising his Woody character, at least the voice, and so are Tim Allen, who lends his voice to Buzz Lightyear; Don Rickles, who plays Mr. Potato Head; and Kristen Schaal, who lends her voice to Trixie back in “Toy Story 3,” and a lot more.

The decision of Disney to finally release a fourth and perhaps the final chapter in the “Toy Story” franchise has something to do with the fact that many animated movies are now making places in the hearts of audience but most of them will find it difficult to replace “Toy Story” from the hearts of movie enthusiasts.

“Toy Story 4” shall be directed again by John Lasseter with the help from Josh Cooley. Lasseter also directed the first two movies of the franchise and only serve as executive producer for “Toy Story 3.”

The movie will be the first for John Lasseter in which he would be handling the works of a director, producer, and co-writer.

John Lasseter will come into the movie as producer along with Galyn Susman. It will be the first movie of Galyn Susman as a producer in the “Toy Story” franchise.

The “Toy Story” franchise is one of the most successful animated movie franchises in Hollywood. Its popularity can be judged by the responses of critics and audience for all its three previous films.
