‘Toy Story 4’ Release Date Pushed Back by a Year; Switches with ‘The Incredibles 2’ in Schedule to Hit Theaters

So instead of Andy as the toy owner, it would definitely be Bonnie in “Toy Story 4.” Since Woody and Buzz like to keep the toy family whole, it is assumed that they would go out of their way to craft another elaborate plan to look and rescue Bo Peep and bring her to the fold of Bonnie.

Aside from Woody and Buzz, the toy gang would be back including Jessie, Hamm, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, and a lot more.

In a recent interview, John Lasseter, the director of “Toy Story” disclosed that they no longer had any plan of making a “Toy Story 4” because the closure between Andy, Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toys already sealed the deal in “Toy Story 3.”

But when the idea of Woody and Buzz and the other toys going out to find Bo Peep came up, it appealed mightily to Lasseter so he decided to make a go for “Toy Story 4.”

It also helped that it was Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO of Disney, who personally confirmed that there will indeed be a “Toy Story 4.”

And just like the first three movies, “Toy Story 4” will be once again a collaboration between Disney and Pixar Animation Studios.
