The 48-year-old “Australia” actress went on to marry country singer Keith Urban with whom she has two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
Meanwhile, 53-year-old Cruise married Katie Holmes, with whom he had a daughter Suri, now nine years old. The pair wed in a Scientology ceremony in 2006 but split in 2012.
Reportedly, Katie filed for divorce because she didn’t want Suri to be exposed to her father’s religion. The “Touched with Fire” star has since been linked with actor Jamie Foxx.
According to Hollywood Life, Holmes is taking Cruise back to court for a higher amount of child support arrangement.
The “Dawson’s Creek” alum allegedly says that the current annual financial child support is not enough and still can be amended to a higher amount. Following their arrangement after Katie won full custody of Suri, the “Jack Reacher” actor has to pay Holmes $400,000 annually until Suri turns 18.
Some reports suggest that the reason for this is so that Katie can keep Suri’s lavish lifestyle back when she and Tom were still together.
While the 36-year-old actress has an acting job coming her way every now and then, she obviously does not have the ability to keep Suri living the lifestyle that Tom was able to give them, Life and Style reports.
