“Captain America: Civil War” will see the Avengers being divided with Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers/Captain America and Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark/Iron Man leading each side.
Stark sides with the government that superheroes must abide by their jurisdiction while Rogers believes that heroes should be allowed to do their duty freely without any restrictions.
Despite the great divide, the Avengers must put their difference aside to battle a more dangerous threat and save the earth. The film is where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will make his debut before his solo film next year.
Following the release of “Captain America: Civil War,”, “Doctor Strange” will premiere this November, to which the trailer is expected to drop any time this week.
2017 is also a big year for Marvel Studios as it will see the premiere of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” by May and the anticipated reboot of “Spider-Man” by July along with “Thor: Ragnarok” in November.
“Black Panther” is expected to debut in February 2018 followed by the highly-anticipated “The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” by May and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” in July.
Marvel Cinematic Universe will open 2019 with “Captain Marvel” in March and then follow it up with “The Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” by May. They will cap the year with “Inhumans” on July. Three more Marvel Studios films that are still untitled are expected to debut in 2020.
