This is Us came back with a bang after the week off during the election. The episode was high on drama. This is Us episode 7 is called ‘The Best Washing Machine in the Whole World.’ One of the most famous relationships was the one between Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown).

The seventh episode of This is Us will deal with the rocky relationship between Kevin and Randall. According to Heavy.com, the viewers found that Kevin and Randall never got along as kids and now with Kevin living in Randall’s home, they will have to work out on their problems since they are under the same roof.

Episode 7 of This is Us will take the viewers back to the 90s when the Pearson brothers were teenagers. The plot will bare the root of the problem. Randall and Kevin shared the room as teenagers, and this was the start of their problems.

While Randall would stay up late to study, Kevin needed to sleep early since he would have football practice. Randall keeps studying while keeping the lights on and Kevin reaches the limit of his patience and decides to move out of the room.

This is Us episode 7 will show Kevin getting up and moving down to the basement since he couldn’t be bothered with Randall’s habit anymore. Randall is devastated to realize that he had upset Kevin. He tries to make things up and visits Kevin in the basement with some Yoohoo and Pop-Tart, but things get hostile.

The rivalry between the brothers reaches the pinnacle during a football match. Since the two brothers represent different schools on the field, they are rivals. The game ends with the brothers being pulled off from each other since they started fighting.

The cut to the present day brings them to a fight on the streets. When the passersby try and intervene, Kevin asks them to stop since he was fighting with his brother. Back at home Randall says that this was the first time in 36 years that Kevin had referred to him as his brother.

While Kevin and Randall have to sort their problems, Randall’s wife Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) will get to know William (Ron Cephas Jones) better. Randall and Kevin aren’t the only ones who need to work things out between themselves. Even Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Kate (Chrisy Metz) have to make amends to their relationship.

NBC released the official synopsis for This Is Us Episode 7, and it reveals that while Beth and William spend time together, a secret that William had kept hidden, resurfaces. Beth and William plan on having pot brownies after putting the girls to bed. They shift outside for a while.

William starts reciting a poem, and Beth joins him. They realize that William had given the book to Rebecca long back. The slip is unintentional, but Beth realizes that she has been the third wheel to William and Rebecca’s relationship. Before the two can speak things out, Randall and Kevin are back.

Vulture reported that This is Us episode 7 will again force Kate through an episode that will focus on her weight issue. The viewers aren’t pleased with the plot since they don’t feel that a storyline needs to concentrate on the aspect of weight.

Yes, Kate is suffering from a weight issue and struggling with her body image, but the viewers needn’t have to go through a sequence where she stares at Toby gorging on a giant dessert. Viewers feel that This is Us episode 7 didn’t do justice to the character of Kate.
