Theo James has been quite busy apparently, as the star has multiple new projects ahead of him. Among those is “The Secret Scripture”, where we will see him in the role of Father Gaunt, a Catholic priest. The story is based on a novel by Sebastian Barry, depicting the life and difficulties that Roseanne McNulty has to go through as she has been confined to e mental institution for half of her life.
Jim Sheridan is in the director’s seat, and we’ve seen reports that the film could come out in 2015, but so far the exact release date hasn’t been announced. It’s possible that the film might get delayed as well, as the 2015 release date doesn’t seem to be set in stone at the moment, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see this particular performance of Theo James.
“London Fields” is another film where we’ll see him starring, along with Billy Bob Thornton, Amber Heard and more. Matthew Cullen is directing this one, and it tells the story of Nicola Six, a woman who has been having a premonition that she is about to die, and then starts a difficult love relationship with three different men. In the end, one of them ends up murdering her and making her premonitions come true.
Then we have “War on Everyone”, where Alexander Skasgard and Michael Pena are in the main roles, playing as two corrupt police officers in New Mexico attempting to blackmail criminals. However, they eventually discover that they have been messing with the wrong person, someone far more capable and dangerous than they could ever dream of being. James has reportedly recently joined the cast as well.
We don’t know when “War on Everyone” is coming out however, as the official release date hasn’t been announced yet. Theo James also has “Allegiant: Part 1” and part 2 in his schedule, with the first part coming out on March 18, 2016, and the second scheduled for March 24, 2017. The films are sequels to the very popular “Divergent”, and will see Theo James in the role of Four/Tobias Eaton.
The two of them previously decided to take a trip to the world beyond the fence, only to be taken into custody by the Bureau of Genetic Welfare under mysterious circumstances. We don’t know what their fate will be, but we expect a very dramatic continuation of the events that were set in motion previously, and hopefully fans of “Divergent” are going to get a proper sequel.
