British actor Theo James has reportedly deferred the supposed wedding plans for him and long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney.
But the postponement has nothing to do with his co-star in the upcoming third and fourth movies of the “Divergent” series, Shailene Woodley, as some rumors put it.
It turns out that the Hollywood career of the 30-year-old actor is going great guns these days following the first two movies of the “Divergent” series – “Divergent” shown in March last year, and “Insurgent” released in March this year.
The third and fourth movies of the franchise will also be released in the same month next year and also in 2017.
Sources close to the couple say that Ruth Kearney, who is also a British actress, surely understands the decision of her boyfriend to defer their wedding plans as he focuses on his acting career.
In addition to doing at least two movies featuring “Underworld 5” and “Divergent: Allegiant,” Theo James has also been signed as the new endorser for the latest campaign of Hugo Boss, cites the Franchise Herald.
Sweetness at the Czech Republic
Meanwhile, Theo James and his girlfriend Ruth Kearney were recently spotted packing some PDA in Prague, Czech Republic, where the British actor is actually filming the fifth installment of the “Underworld” movie franchise
Reports have it that the production of the movie, officially titled “Underworld: Next Generation,” has begun on November 26 and will run for a period of 10 weeks.
Apparently, Ruth decided to join her boyfriend in the country where they were spotted on November 27 enjoying some romantic sightseeing in Prague and also sharing a kiss.
“Underworld: Next Generation” shall also feature Kate Beckinsale, whom Theo also worked with during the fourth movie of the series titled “Underworld: Awakening” released in 2012.
Secret relationship
Prior to the reports that Theo James and Ruth Kearney are about to get married, there have been speculations about the blossoming relationship between the British actor and Shailene Woodley.
Both James and Woodley have denied that they have taken their on-screen chemistry off-cam since the two of them are actually in a relationship. James is already engaged to Ruth Kearney, while Woodley, until recently, has been reported to be dating Nahko Bear.
James and Woodley, actually sort of dated during the filming of the third and fourth movies of the series, titled “Divergent: Allegiant” and “Divergent: Ascendant,” respectively.
In a past interview, Theo James said that he and Shailene hung out a lot during the filming of the movie or movies and it was fun. He added that the cast was all staying in one apartment, sharing a bed. He and Shailene shared one bed and they were spooning every night, the actor disclosed.
According to some reports, Theo James wanted to practice the kissing scenes with Shailene Woodley all the time.
James also shared in jest that he went to their kissing scenes hard because he thought that’s how Shailene wanted it. He admitted that he just wanted to practice the kissing scene with Shailene as much as possible. In fact, he says to her after dinner that they should practice the kissing scene so that they come clean about it.
But as it turned out, Theo James still felt awkward about the whole intimate scenes whereas Shailene Woodley seems hardly bothered by it all.
There are also speculations that because Theo and Shailene are both spoken for at the time of their filming for the “Divergent” movie series, the two have decided to keep their dating a secret, notes Venture Capital Post.
