There have also been other rumors about Theo James and Shailene Woodley, some of which have been significantly less positive than the rumors of them dating. For example, at one point we saw claims that the two have gotten in a serious disagreement, and that was the main reason for the troubles of the “Divergent” series.
As we pointed out above though, there doesn’t seem to be any indication that things are sour between Theo James and Shailene Woodley right now. While the two are not going to work together in the near future, that doesn’t mean that they will part ways on a negative note, and we actually fully expect to hear some more positive reports about them sometime in the next few months.
Last but not least, some of the more outlandish rumors about the two claim that they could actually be involved in a secret affair, and that could be related to the cancellation of “Divergent”. While this would make at least some sense with regards to the behavior of Theo’s wife, it’s a pretty crazy theory that we wouldn’t invest too heavily in.
It remains to be seen what Lionsgate will say about the “Divergent” series as well, as it’s possible that the studio may have some more interesting plans for the franchise that don’t even involve Theo James or Shailene Woodley. The two actors are seen as an important part of the formula by many fans, but it’s arguable just how critical their on-screen presence is.
