Various developments are coming up in “The Young and the Restless”, and it looks like there will be a lot of drama in the next episode of the show on several fronts. On one hand, we’re going to see Kevin thinking hard about a decision that he has to make, while on the other Dr. Neville will be involved in some peculiar situations as well. Then there are hints about some not-so-good developments about Devon, and all in all we’ve got a pretty exciting episode coming up. Hopefully there will be no lasting negative repercussions from anything that happens in it.
Something that’s been revealed by reports is that Michael will listen in on a talk between Kevin and Mariah, and he will give them some advice on their dealings with Victor. Whether or not this will have any effect is difficult to say due to what we’re hearing though, but we don’t doubt that the writers have a good resolution planned for all characters in this particular subplot.
Indeed, we’re apparently going to see Kevin refusing the offer in the end, and this might cause some problems for him, but at the same time it will also work as a boost for his confidence and will allow him to potentially work out even more attractive deals in the future, now that he knows what he’s capable of.
Victor will not be particularly happy to learn that Nikki was having lunch together with Neil, and he’ll come to other discoveries as well which will play a negative role in his relationship with other characters. Above all, he will have a problem with Nikki and he will decide to bring these issues up with her, so hopefully he will get the kind of resolution that he’s looking for.
Also, we’re going to see things heating up between Hilary and Neil, although some fans of the show are apparently skeptical of this development right now. In any case, the two of them might not have too much time for their lovemaking, as they might get interrupted at some point, leading to an interesting conclusion to the situation. It’s been rumored that this particular scene will be one of the highlight of the episode as it might bring a slightly humorous note to everything that’s going on.
Last but not least, there have been some talks about Billy Abbott, with claims that he will be in a dangerous situation and he might actually not make it. Of course, anything can happen on this show and it’s possible that the writers are planning a more grim continuation of the season, but hopefully they haven’t decided to kill off that character yet. His situation will be very fragile in any case, and it’s entirely possible that he might end up dead, but it’s also a possibility that the writers are setting up a tearful comeback for him after he manages to leap over the dangerous hole.
So far, he has shown some minor signs of brain activity, but this is apparently not enough to reassure the doctors that he’s going to make it. And of course, the show’s producers have been anything but talkative when it comes to the future of the character, and whatever they’re planning for him is going to be kept a secret until the event actually occurs. As can be expected, fans have taken the opportunity to speculate quite a lot, and they have various theories right now.
