‘The Winds of Winter’ Non-Announcement on Worldcon 2016 Disappoint Fans Amid Presence of George Martin!

BrydenBFish based his latest theory on the study he made on Martin’s writing speed based on the previous books of “A Song of Ice and Fire.”

The fan previously analyzed Martin’s writing speed from when he was writing the fifth book of the series, “A Dance with Dragons,” which is the basis of his theory on the possible release date for “The Winds of Winter.”

Meanwhile, HarperCollins, the publisher of the books of George R.R. Martin, has quashed the rumors going wild online that “The Winds of Winter,” the sixth book in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” shall come out in October 2016.

Jaki Arthur, head of marketing and communications of HarperCollins Australia, said that speculations have been rife in Australia and across the world that George Martin shall be releasing “The Winds of Winter” at the World Fantasy Convention 2016.

He said that they do not know what will happen at the event but “The Winds of Winter” will not be one of the highlights of the occasion.

But Arthur went on to acknowledge the efforts of Martin in delivering “The Winds of Winter” although he remains mum on the book’s publication date.

He explained that HarperCollins shall make an immediate announcement regarding the launch of the book once Martin is finished writing all the chapters.
