Last month, Michonne and Daryl were seen filming for the latter episodes of Season 7, which means that not one of them is going to be Negan’s victim.
That trimmed down the contenders to three, featuring Glenn, Abraham, and Eugene. Interestingly, not one of the three characters were spotted in any of the subsequent filmings for Season 7.
Now, latest rumors are saying that Negan shall actually have two victims instead of one speculated by viewers and critics.
It was actually executive producer Greg Nicotero who hinted of the likelihood when he mentioned in a recent interview the word deaths instead of just death.
In that interview, Nicotero was quoted as saying that he would have still supported doing it the way they did it because the story does not end there.
He added that if they have shown the deaths, then they would not have felt the show’s characters in Season 7 the way they need to.
Nicotero added that he thinks that a lot of people will get out of it is how the moment changes the entire makeup of the show’s universe within a split second. He explained that it is that moment that launches the entire Season 7 of “The Walking Dead” in that direction.
