‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 to See Carol and Morgan Spending Quality Time with King Ezekiel and His Pet Tiger Shiva!

Every fan of the American horror survival drama TV series “The Walking Dead” is looking ahead to the premiere of Season 7 on October 23 on AMC because they wanted to know the victim of Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and his barbed wire-laced baseball bat named Lucille.

The toss-up of the rumors is that it could either be Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, or Abraham, played by Michael Cudlitz, but if the TV series would remain consistent with its comic book source material, Glenn is going to be it.

While the first half of Season 7 of “The Walking Dead” will find the group of Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, dealing with the fallout of the death of a fallen comrade, there are now reports going around saying that focus of the early episodes shall also see Carol, played by Melissa McBride, and Morgan, played by Lennie James, dealing with The Kingdom.

Reports are now confirmed that the upcoming season will see the introduction of King Ezekiel, to be played by Khary Payton, and his pet tiger Shiva, at The Kingdom and they will be spending quality time with both Carol and Morgan, details Yahoo! TV.

It could be recalled that during the Season 6 finale, Carol wandered off on her own and was found by Morgan.

The two encountered several walkers in a barn and were helped out by soldiers, who apparently belong to a community called The Kingdom, reports Variety.

Based on reports, King Ezekiel and the members of The Kingdom are also not in favor of the ways of Negan and his Saviors so it would seem like Carol and Morgan might draw some help or assistance from them to be able to help their colleagues from the grasp of Negan.

To be set free eventually

However, based on the statements of Negan during the Season 6 finale before he pummeled his victim to a pulp, he does not intend to kill all of the members of Rick’s group from Alexandria but just wanted to send a message to them.

He also said that it is also one way of avenging the deaths of many Saviors in the hands of Rick’s group when they took over a facility that was previously occupied by Saviors.

He said that he just wanted the people of Alexandria to serve him and the Saviors the way Gregory and the people of Hilltop were doing. Negan said that Rick and company would be of no use to him and his Saviors if they were all dead.

Thus, Rick and company shall not need any help at all from anybody to escape Negan because they would be free to go once he is done with his first victim. They would just need to offer him and the Saviors their services and produce in return for keeping them alive.

Two victims not just one?

Regarding the possible victim of Negan, the consensus of the rumors is that it is going to be Glenn who shall take the fall since it is what happened in the comic book source material of “The Walking Dead.” But some skeptics believe that it is part of a trolling effort from the producers to keep the viewers guessing while the TV series is on hiatus.

walking dead

They actually succeeded towards such end since even after “The Walking Dead” Season 6 in March this year, fans and viewers were still talking about it and were all looking forward to the show’s seventh season to find the answer to the cliffhanger left by the TV series during its Season 6 finale.

Based on the speculations after the Season 6 of “The Walking Dead,” the top five characters who made the guessing game in order of likelihood are Glenn, Abraham, Eugene, Michonne, and Daryl.
