‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Second Half Would Have More Variety to the Story Structure, Says Showrunner

Among the named characters, Daryl is the safest bet not to die in the midseason finale. The producers and the showrunners of “The Walking Dead” know how important Daryl is in the TV series and his huge fanbase would certainly not be happy if the show takes such an absurd path.

Since the hint was an important character that could force Rick to get mad, it could either be his son Carl or his daughter Judith, some speculations said.

It can be recalled that back in episode 7, Carl was caught by Negan but instead of bashing his skull with Lucille, he toured the boy on the Saviors facility.

Towards the end of the episode, Negan was shown sitting on the porch carrying Judith while Carl watches on his side. He was quoted as saying that he could already afford to kill Carl or Rick and just be contented sitting on a porch and have a laid-back lifestyle in Alexandria.

The outlet was correct in its list though as Spence and Olivia were killed off during episode 8 and paved the way for Rick’s realization that they fight back Negan. It also helped their plan of action when upon their arrival in the Hilltop, they saw Daryl, who earlier escaped from captivity in the Sanctuary.
