‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Premiere Would Make the Whole Planet Explode, Says Norman Reedus!

Norman Reedus, the actor who plays fan-favorite Daryl Dixon in the post-Apocalyptic horror survival drama TV series “The Walking Dead” on AMC, says that the entire planet is going to explode for the Season 7 premiere of the popular show when it returns to the small screen in the fall of this year.

While AMC has not announced a release date for Season 7 of “The Walking Dead,” most critics believe that the TV series will stick with its usual premiere date of October, the way it has been over the past six years.

Reedus was recently interviewed as part of the promotions for his new TV show on AMC entitled “Ride with Norman Reedus” which is set to premiere on June 12.

Asked whether Daryl Dixon will be the one who will be killed by Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as seen during the Season 6 cliffhanger finale, Reedus said that he has been asked about the question zillion times already.

He said that he does not like spoilers because he does not want people to tell him the ending of the movie when they sit down in a movie theater. He does not like spoilers so he does not give out one, notes the Entertainment Weekly.

Reedus is also happy though that fans have been talking about the Season 6 finale of “The Walking Dead” even though it is over two months already since the TV series aired its final sixth season episode in March.

He said it only means that many people and fans have invested in the show which is the reason why most of them have been freaking out. He thinks it’s great and he is happy that “The Walking Dead” makes its fans feel involved.

Arguably the most popular star of the TV series says that the upcoming Season 7 will be the highest plateau that the show has ever been so he advised fans to just wait because it is going to be worth it.

Negan’s possible victim

While the bet is either Glenn or Abraham as the likely victim of Negan and Lucille during the Season 6 finale, there are now speculations online that the victim might possibly be Carl.

The rumors began to swirl as a result of the recent guesting of executive producer Robert Kirkman on “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick.

He was quoted as saying that on the next exciting episode of “The Walking Dead,” fans will become mad when they learn that Negan killed Carl.

But fans of the show know that the creator has been very good at misdirecting the plot and storyline of the TV series in the past so he loves to troll them a lot.

One fan even posted on Twitter that Kirkman was just playing a game with the fans when he said that it was Carl who got killed by Negan. Some others think that Kirkman’s statement was a joke, notes the International Business Times of UK.

In “The Walking Dead” comic books, it was actually Carl who became the reason why Rick and company were able to eventually defeat Negan and his Saviors.

Sending a clear and loud message

Plotwise, it would also be good for Negan to kill Carl because it sends a clear and loud message to Rick as the leader of the group from Alexandria. It could be recalled that Negan pointed directly to Rick as the man behind his group’s rather high casualty so he wanted to settle the score and keep him on bended knees.

Negan killing Carl would psychologically demoralize Rick and also avenge the death of his men in the hands of Rick and company. It can be recalled that Negan was able to correctly identify in the lineup that Carl was the son of Rick, even brandishing the former as a future serial killer.

The Season 7 premiere of “The Walking Dead” on AMC is still long ways off but the internet is already abuzz with about what fans would expect in light of the spine-tingling Season 6 finale shown in March.
