It seems that the safe bet is still on Glenn as latest reports have it that executive producer Robert Kirkman already revealed in a previous interview way back before the Season 6 premiere that eventually a character named Negan shall be introduced to the show. He disclosed back then that Negan is going to bash in Glenn’s brains with a baseball bat called Lucille.
However, the information could be a misdirect in order to throw off fans from the leak but the chances of Glenn being the victim has already increased by more than 50% compared to the rest of the series regulars who has been rumored to become Negan’s victim.
But the big reveal for the Season 6 cliffhanger of the “The Walking Dead” would only be made in 10 to 15 minutes of the Season 7 premiere and the show would soon be off to a new direction.
The confirmation came no less from executive producer and director Greg Nicotero who said in a recent interview that the future will change up the most recent semblance of a status quo.
Nicotero said that the seventh season of “The Walking Dead” shall be very different from the one that fans of the show have been accustomed to.
