Practically all kibitzers were craning their necks and opening their ears wide for every possible news update regarding the cast for whatever news they can get their hands onto regarding “The Walking Dead” Season 6.
There was one actual news that slightly had an impact on the filming of the sixth season of “The Walking Dead” and it’s the recent arrest of actor Seth Gilliam on three counts of speeding, driving under the influence (DUI) and drug possession charges. The last offense is quite serious and may take him off the set for quite some time.
Gilliam is set to reprise his role as Father Gabriel on Season 6 and his arrest would likely reduce the time of his character in the series.
“The Walking Dead” fan website called ‘The Spoiling Dead Fans’ created a media buzz when it posted images of the first day of shooting for “The Walking Dead” Season 6.
The photos revealed the construction of some new houses around the Alexandria Safe Zone. There is still no report yet on who will occupy the space but it will be a safe to assume that the situation in Alexandria will be tense after Rick summarily executed Jessie’s abusive husband for stabbing Reg to death in the final episode of Season 5.
A couple of images also showed the production crew and some cast members quite busy on the rural Georgia set.
