Another thing that fans would want to see before the fall finale is to have a closure on the Wolves. The group has been teased and featured since way back in Season 5. They have burned neighborhoods, butchered corpses, and set up elaborate booby traps.
Their attack on Alexandria and the ensuing massacre was superb, but half of them were completely wiped out and their leader captured alive by Morgan.
It is important that the series put an end to the storyline of the Wolves before the Saviors come into the picture to assume the role of the next big bad in the show.
The showrunners need to feature the Wolves in the last two episodes to at least salvage their reputation before a grand finale to their short-lived storyline so that viewers can move on and welcome the Saviors.
The Wolves leader getting out from his captivity and killing one or two people from Alexandria in the remaining two episodes this year of “The Walking Dead” before getting killed would be one way to send the character off and set up the rumored confrontation between Rick and Morgan.
