The Walking Dead is about to start back up and as one of the most popular shows on television for the last few years, there will be millions of eyes on it. The show is going to start back up on the 9th of February and according to reports, there are some hints to what could be coming up this time around. There are a few online sites that are posting these hints about the premier of the second half of season 5.
There are not that many shows that you can watch on television these days that will have this kind of buzz around the second half premier. The Walking Dead, however, has amassed quite the following and each of them is hungry for more. The last episode of the first half left plenty of questions out there for fans of the show. At this time, all of the speculation has yet to be confirmed by anyone from the show, so fans will just have to tune in to see how things go.
Now that The Walking Dead group has been seen “walkers” pretty much overrun every location they can get to, it remains to be seen whether they will try for another big city with hopes of finding more survivors. The first two minutes of the teaser that was posted online last week clearly showed they will be headed for Virginia. According to at least one character mentioned “Richmond” and that a safe community was built there.
Have the walkers been there? There is only one way to find out and the odds are very good that Rick Grimes is going to head that direction with the rest of the group to find out. Grimes talks about making the trek to Virginia while talking with the rest of the survivors stating that it is “a long trip”, but a “trip we have to make”. Richmond is not shown in the teaser from what many sources can tell, so the second half could be all about the trip there.
If you remember The Walking Dead comic book, there is a place called the “Alexanderia Safe-Zone”, but many of the fans of the show might not know what that is. According to sources, the group spends more time there than at any other location throughout the series. It would have to be similar to Woodbury, but is not known as a completely safe zone becoming a place of many deaths and other speed bumps the show can utilize.
