Turns out that it was indeed the kids’ lucky day because not only did they see all four coaches, they also saw them donning headgears and acting all so crazy competitive in their virtual reality.
In another teaser for the show’s upcoming season released last week, Stefani, Pharell, Levine, and Shelton are seen fighting for the contestants who are also battling it out during the blind auditions.
The four judges also talk about what they like about the show, how they get to help aspiring singers reach their dreams, and get candid about the friendship they have with each other.
On a serious note, this season will see the newly-single Blake and Gwen after divorcing from their separate spouses. Last July, it was reported that Shelton had filed for divorce from his wife and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert.
Their divorce was finalized the same day and the pair released a joint statement regarding their decision to part ways. The couple met in 2005 and were married in 2010.
Early last month, Gwen also filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple were married in 2002 and share three kids all of which are boys, namely, Kingston James McGregor, Zuma Nesta Rock, and Apollo Bowie Flynn.
