The “Let’s be Cops” star remains optimistic and happy about the way her acting career is going, which could be the reason why she would decide to return to her roots.
There are already reports circling on the internet that Dobrev is really about to return on the final episode of “The Vampire Diaries.”
Her character Elena Gilbert, who is known for being the heart of the show, will reportedly appear in Damon’s dreams.
According to sources, there is a possibility that Elena will be the one to turn back Damon into his normal self again. Knowing that she is the love of his life, it is no surprise that she would be able to save him from Sybil’s mind-controlling curse.
Previously, executive producer Julie Plec disclosed in an interview that she had a conversation with Nina Dobrev a few months ago.
According to Plec, Nina said that she wants to go back to the show if not on the finale episode but probably one of the remaining episodes of “TVD.”
Plec admitted that the only reason of Dobrev’s not returning on the show is her conflict schedule which will not allow her to find time to shoot the planned episode.
