As if to tease Ian Somerhalder what he has been missing, Nina Dobrev also posted an image of herself on social media wearing a bikini. According to reports, she made the post to get Somerhalder’s attention.
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder used to be a romantic couple before parting ways. Somerhalder is now married while Dobrev continues to date guys but has not yet found that special someone to finally settle for good.
It was during the Memorial Day weekend when Nina and some of her girlfriends head off to the beach where they played volleyball. She posted a photo of herself smashing the ball and captioned it with set goals and smash them. She also put the hashtag #committosomething.
While the return of Nina Dobrev is still not confirmed, executive producer Julie Plec has expressed her sentiments that she wants the actress to return to the TV series.
The showrunner said that the return of Dobrev could actually pave the way for the extension of “The Vampire Diaries” beyond Season 8.
However, she also said that if the eighth season is going to be the last for the show, Plec said that she still wants Dobrev back for the finale because she wants Elena Gilbert to be there at the very end of “The Vampire Diaries.”
Honestly I don’t think Dobrev is everything in TVD. The show can survive without her. season 7 was just awesome without her. If she can’t leave personal feelings at home ….
