While Sybil only wanted to use her powers for good, her sister preferred using them to attract sailors and plunder their booty, including eating them.
Sybil also asked Stefan what kind of sibling he really is. Is he the one who has been forced down a dark path or the one who was a man-eating monster all along. Stefan told Sybil that he is both, prompting her to reveal another secret. She said that she and her sister serve the first-ever psychic who is a powerful gentleman named Arcadius.
She told Stefan that if he wants to save Damon, all he needs to do is to kill the devil. But killing the devil also means killing his brother and that certainly got Stefan into thinking.
It was revealed later in the episode that the secret sister of Sybil was none other than Caroline and it turns out that George was working for her.
Fans are also speculating that it is not Sybil who is going to be the big bad for the current eighth season of “The Vampire Diaries” but most likely Arcadius.
“The Vampire Diaries” has a history of pitting Stefan and the Mystic Falls gang against the firsts of various kinds, be they vampires or doppelgangers.
