The confirmed entry of Leslie-Anne Huff also triggered speculations among fans that the actress was taken because she looks like former show female lead star Nina Dobrev.
Dries eventually clarified that Huff’s seeming likeness with Dobrev is just coincidental and has nothing to do with the show’s plotlines at all.
In fact, the executive producer said that she has not personally met Leslie-Anne yet but what she knows of her is that she is a great person and is perfect for the role of the vampire huntress Rayna.
Ian Somerhalder revealed as early as November that fans should really look forward to seeing episode 10 of “The Vampire Diaries.”
Episode 10 is the midseason premiere of “The Vampire Diaries” and it will air on January 29 after the show’s winter hiatus.
According to Ian Somerhalder, the perceived huge departure from the typical formula of the show after the exit of Nina Dobrev would be felt by the viewers on the upcoming tenth episode, which he says is the best in the current season.
Incidentally, the 10th and best episode of “The Vampire Diaries” is all about Damon Salvatore, so it would be interesting to know if Somerhalder’s co-stars share the same opinion about it as being the best in Season 7.
