Recent episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” have been quite heavy on the emotions, as viewers just had to say goodbye to Sheriff Forbes who was losing his fight with cancer. At the same time, some positive developments occurred as well, with Stephan and Caroline finally getting together for a kiss, much to the delight of most viewers. And now, as episode 15 is approaching, fans of the show will see how all characters are dealing with the death of Caroline’s mother.
In episode 15, we’ll first see the funeral for Sheriff Forbes, where Damon will be delivering the eulogy. Caroline seems to be acting strangely through the whole ordeal, according to Elena, as even though she’s obviously grieving over the death, her behavior is also peculiar and not entirely in line with what would be expected from someone going through such a loss.
The episode preview didn’t make it clear what that could imply, although there is likely a tricky subplot coming up that involves Caroline. In addition, we’ll also see Kai going to Jo for help, which is probably related to Kai taking in some of Luke’s features when they merged. With that in mind, it’s very likely that we’ll see Kai shifting personalities, and Alaric is still highly suspicious towards Kai, apparently for a good reason.
Then we have Matt and Tyler talking about their future, and discussing making a rather serious change to their lives, while Bonnie has to face a situation that she isn’t very comfortable with. It’s not known what the situation is specifically, but she recently went to Nova Scotia in search of magic as she wanted to free herself from being stuck in 1994.
All in all, the new episode is shaping up to be focused on the death of Sheriff Forbes to a large extent, showing how it affects each character and the environment of the show as a whole. While it was pretty obvious that the Sheriff’s death is going to have some serious implications on the future of the show, it’s still a bit surprising to see the actual extent to which the characters will be affected by the event.
The situation with Caroline is something that has made fans particularly interesting, as many want to see exactly what’s going through her head and what has been troubling her, as it seems that her behavior is going to have some rather serious implications on the future of the show, at least in the short term. What’s happening with Caroline, and why does her behavior attract Elena’s attention? Episode 15 is right around the corner, and it looks like it’s going to bring some interesting answers.
