The Sims 5 Release Could Be Preceded by Additional DLCs for The Sims 4, Rumors Say!

The reason is that it’s not intended for a player to purchase every single piece of DLC available, but rather to pick out the ones that they’re interested in, and create the perfect customized experience.

“Train Simulator” was a good platform for this idea, and many fans of “The Sims” claim that it has an even greater potential for that. Not only because of the game’s core gameplay style and large fan base, but also due to the rich history of the franchise as a whole.

After all, “The Sims” is one of the best-selling PC games of all time, and there is clearly still a lot of interest in the series from multiple sides. EA have improved their marketing as well, and they know exactly which buttons to push to make their fans excited.

With all that in mind, we don’t see the idea for an ongoing “The Sims” experience as an unusual one. But it’s possible that EA may want to release a brand new game that will serve as the platform for that first. If they really are planning something like that, we guess we’ll find out sometime next year.

There is still active work going on around “The Sims 4”, and it wouldn’t make much sense for EA to make any announcements about a new game right now. As we pointed out, the studio has perfected their communication with fans regarding the franchise, so they know that they should avoid talking about new projects at the moment, especially one as important as this.
