Various locked doors are coming to the game, some of which will have basic locks for easier access while some can only be accessible by a specific Sim. Gender-specific locked doors have also been added for players to have more options for its design. With the locked doors update being incorporated into the gameplay, homes can now be fully secured. This update has been a request by many players ever since the game’s “Go to Work” expansion was released.
The second update includes the new half-walls to aid players in designing their homes. These half-walls will come in five different sizes and styles giving players an array of options on how they want their homes to appear.
Although Maxis and Sims Studios officially announced only two additional features to “The Sims 4,” reports are surfacing that a third addition is now available. According to Tech Times, a player under the name “Simmythesim” recently created a height modifier via download for the video game.
The new height mod allows players to customize their teenage Sim and make them look older, taller, or shorter. The height mod can be accessed by clicking and dragging the Sim’s feet in the ‘Create a Sim’ mode although the foot size of the Sim will not be modified. Rumor has it that a height slider feature is in the works by another user.
