At first glance, it would appear that the The Real Housewives of New York Season 7 was going to start with a different light around it. There is a new house to enjoy, but after the first episode aired, it appears that the same old grudges are still in full effect. The second episode was aired this week and was called “New House, Old Grudges” for a very good reason. The new house belongs to Luann, who throws an informal housewarming party and that is when the tensions that have been simmering for a long time, come to the surface.
The Real Housewives of New York Season 6 ended just last August with the third of three reunion shows. In most cases, those types of shows just reveal some more drama that was not aired during the original episodes. The viewership of The Real Housewives of New York is getting to be a less each year with only 1.5 million viewers tuning in to see the The Real Housewives of New York Season 7 episode 1.
The housewarming party is actually a brunch and when you live in the Hamptons, getting invited is a big deal. There is a new house to spy around and LuAnn made sure that she was able to show everyone how she lives in her second home. Carole and Heather drove out from the city discussing very pressing issues about dying naked and then when Carole caught the attention of LuAnns personal chef, it was on.
Carole said that she is “always attracted to very attractive men” and the excitement starts right there. The personal chef, Adam, was young, hot and he can cook, so what more could she ask for in a man, right? It was a little surprising that Kristen barely seemed to have any screen time during this episode, but it might have had something to do with Sonja inability to stop talking during the visit.
Romona made her way around the house and found LuAnn so that she could apologize for the nasty things that she said when her husband left her. LuAnn made comments that the things that were said are “never to be forgotten” and that some things might not change. They are also likely to get much worse before they get any better between those two. Only having aired two episodes, it would appear that The Real Housewives of New York Season 7 is going to be just as dramatic and exciting as the last six have been.
