LuAnn de Lesseps hasn’t been on the best terms with Heather Thomson, after the latter criticized her for her behavior during their “Scary Island Part 2” trip to Turks and Caicos. From what we’ve seen about the arguments between the two, it all started when LuAnn de Lesseps brought a male guest back to their vacation home, waking up Thomson and startling her.
And according to Thomson, LuAnn de Lesseps has been painting herself as a victim in the whole ordeal, something which she claims is actually typical for her, as she never wants to take responsibility for her own actions. We don’t know how serious things are between the two behind the scenes, but it did sound like there was some pretty bad tension.
However, recent rumors that Thomson might be leaving the show have been actually quite disappointing to de Lesseps, who has expressed her negativity over the situation, claiming that she’s going to miss her co-star and she doesn’t want to see her departing. Still, we don’t know if those rumors are even true or not, and the situation with the show’s cast seems to be somewhat confusing to the public eye at the moment.
In the end though, de Lesseps also claimed to understand what Thomson is going through, after Thomson’s claims that she wants to focus on her family more and develop her own business more actively. The show has been taking its toll on everyone involved in it, including both actresses, so we can assume that Thomson has been considering this decision very carefully before finally choosing to be off the production for good.
However, we don’t know how things are going to go in the future, and it’s possible that we’re going to see Thomson on the screen again despite the current rumors. The show has had its fair share of interesting moments and we wouldn’t be surprised if the producers are planning something even more unusual for the next episodes.
Was the incident between de Lesseps and Thomson really that bad after all? We did get both sides of the story, at least as much as it was possible in this situation, and it did sound like they were both acting out of line to some extent. According to Thomson however, de Lesseps was the one who “broke girl code” and was acting inappropriately, and we haven’t heard if the conflict ever got properly resolved or not.
Considering that it all started because of a man though, and that the story is now long over and in the past, it may be wiser for both of them to bury the hatchet and resume their regular friendly attitude towards each other that we’ve known them for before.
After all, it doesn’t make sense for either of them to burn any bridges right now, and we’re hopeful that we’re going to see them interacting on the screen again in the future. If not in this particular show, then in another production – they are both stars with some potential left to realize, so we have no doubt that we could be hearing their names again.
For the time being however, we’re definitely going to be hearing of de Lesseps in the context of “The Real Housewives of New York”, as the actress remains on the show and is going to be as active as ever on it.
