This is arguably the one thing they could improve upon for their next release as well, as they did leave some holes in the implementation that could have been done better. But then again, Rockstar could hardly have handled the entire game in a flawless manner.
All of this has also made many people excited for “GTA 6”, whenever it may arrive. It’s clear at this point that Rockstar isn’t letting this franchise go anytime soon, and they’ll probably put even more effort into their next release.
And while there has been a lot of speculation on the horizon regarding that game and its possible release date, there is no official news on the horizon yet, and players are still in the dark about the studio’s plans.
This is normal though, as Rockstar tend to be quite secretive about their projects, especially something as major as this. On the other hand, they also seem to have enough on their plate as it is, so it’s highly unlikely that we’re going to see them addressing “GTA 6” anytime soon.
Whenever they do come out with some information about the game, it will probably be in a state that’s close to completion, as Rockstar are typically not one of the studios that like to tease with the early status of their games. Of course, we never know how things might change in the future and what they might decide to do.
