“The Originals” hasn’t been around for that long, as three seasons is a relatively short run in modern terms. But in that time, the show has managed to display a clear sense of direction in its production, and it’s established a loyal fan base of active fans.
People love to talk about the show online, and the modern approach of its producers is noticeable when one looks at the impact that those discussions have on the episodes themselves. While the producers don’t commonly address it, they obviously like to borrow some ideas from their community.
And there’s certainly nothing wrong with that, it works to help strengthen that bond between the show and its fans, and it helps make the production even better by building on the parts that fans love to see exactly.
