And of course, fans have already started to speculate on the situation and they’ve been wondering what kinds of enemies could be introduced to the show that we haven’t seen already. There are plenty of possibilities, and the writers could have even come up with something more unique that better reflects the overall style of the production.
Some fans have been hoping that Klaus and Elijah will eventually be able to get over their issues, but it doesn’t look like this is planned, at least not for the time being.
After a while, it might happen, and it’s actually something that could make sense in order to move the plot forward. But for now, keeping the conflict between the two characters active is something that definitely benefits the producers of the show and it’s something that we wouldn’t expect them to change anytime soon.
