Klaus will still be reeling from the death of Leah Pipes’ Cami despite five years passing. Executive producer Michael Narducci says that when they decided that Cami would meet her demise, they knew she would be an irrevocable part of Klaus’ life.

So it will jump 5 years, so that means everything that happens on the finale Season of TVD would have already taken place since TVD only jumped 3 years. So it may not be possible for any cross overs accept flash backs of the past before the ending of the originals SN 3 finale, that sucks no originals to help TVD fight the final battle. on a side note I wish these shows stop bringing in the gay relationships I am tired of seeing it on every show, like it’s a must to have.
