‘The Originals’ Season 3 to Feature the Mikaelson Family Contending with Poachers!

Two episodes into Season 3, the American supernatural TV series “The Originals” on The CW has been very consistent with its pre-season teasers and spoilers.

The show hit the ground running when it premiered on October 8 as it overwhelmed fans and viewers of the Mikaelson family’s origin story, with a focus on the first vampires ever sired by Klaus and his siblings, notes the International Business Times of UK.

Those vampires are apparently called collectively as the Trinity. The Trinity is actually the first vampires sired by Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, and Rebekah, played by Claire Holt. The new characters will not only shake things up in New Orleans, they will also put the Mikaelson siblings on edges.

However, it is still too early in Season 3 to highlight that so the TV series is gradually moving towards the direction while building up the suspense and excitement.

More intense

The second episode of “The Originals” which aired on October 15 was quite intense that followed the flashback-heavy Season 3 premiere.

However, the third episode, officially titled “I’ll See You in Hell or New Orleans” to be aired on October 22 will even be more intense because the show will return to modern day New Orleans and the Mikaelson family will begin contending with a whole new threat – vampire poachers, notes Heavy.

Based on the synopsis of the upcoming third episode, Klaus and Elijah will be forced to team up to uncover Lucien’s true motives of his decision to come to New Orleans. Lucien is being played by guest star Andrew Lees.

There is also the spoiler that says that Cami, played by Leah Pipes, will be caught off guard when she finds herself face to face with Lucien and got even more surprised when Lucien unexpectedly disclosed more information about his past with Klaus.

Other subplots to be expected on episode 3 are the enticing offer of a mysterious figure to Marcel, played by Charles Michael Davis. Hayley, played by Phoebe Tonkin, will turn to an unconventional way of coping with her current situation.

And then there is also an old acquaintance of Elijah, who also comes from his past, who arrives in New Orleans and delivers some startling news involving the increasing threat to the Mikaelson siblings. Obviously, the show is now slowly building up to the impending face-off between the Mikaelsons and the Trinity.

More things in store for the fans

There will be more things in store for the fans in the Season 3 of “The Originals.” Aside from more appearance from actress Claire Holt, there will be a lot of subplots to watch out for which will unravel in the subsequent episodes of the TV series.

Holt was momentarily out during some stretches of Season 2, but she is now back in Season 3 beginning with some form of flashbacks during the premiere as well as during present day along with her brothers Elijah and Klaus.

Meanwhile, Klaus will continue to nurture his love for his therapist Cami after telling her what he feels during the Season 2 finale.

Cami, on the other hand, is trying to contain her feelings for Klaus because she wants to be a good psychologist. But it will be a tough task for her as her only client at this time is Klaus and it would be interesting to see if they can keep their relationship on a strictly professional basis or they will finally to give their mutual feelings a go in Season 3.

Previous reports have indicated that much of the third season of “The Originals” will focus on the Mikaelson siblings as they meet and deal with their first offspring for the first time.

The Originals Season 3

During the ComicCon 2015 held in San Diego, California in July, showrunners of “The Originals” confirmed that Season 3 will explore the dynamic between the Mikaelson siblings. They also revealed that the Mikaelsons will meet their offspring for the first time.

However, the meeting will not be pretty, they added, as the sired vampires will come to New Orleans seeking power and vengeance.
